EGS offers Travel Grants of 2000,- Euro each to be awarded to young and promising ophthalmologists from economically less fortunate parts of Europe with a clear interest in Glaucoma, desiring to spend a one-month training period in a major Glaucoma Centre/Department in Europe.

Applications to include
curriculum vitae with e-mail address
list of publications and teaching activities of the last 3 years
letter from applicant, explaining interests in glaucoma, potenial benefit from the training and where will be practiced afterwards.
letter of support from your present head of department.

Western Eye Hospital – London (Migdal)
University of Wurzburg (Grehn)
University of Munich (Krieglstein)
Institut du Glaucome de Paris (Lachkar)
Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Topouzis)
University of Aberdeen, Scotland (Augusto Azuara-Blanco)
other centers can not be accepted at this time.
